This abbreviated version of church takes place during the 10:30 AM worship service and is a ministry for school-aged children (ages 5-11), who have not yet begun confirmation. Trained leaders work from a liturgical curriculum which outlines a few main components: a gathering with an entrance rite, the Gospel told in story form, a reflection of the Gospel, prayer, and related activities. The Gospel presented in the curriculum aligns with the Gospel of the traditional worship service, thus inviting an opportunity for parents and children to have further discussion following their Sunday worship.

Children will participate in the regular service until the Children’s Sermon, after which they will be ushered to Children’s Chapel and return to worship in time to participate in Holy Communion with their families.

This is a fun and exciting worship opportunity for your children and their friends! We welcome children from the community to come, to learn fun Bible songs and prayers, to hear and understand the Gospel, and to be able to make related crafts to take home after church!!
